Summary
Bloc collects only what it needs to run your account: your phone number, a nickname, the NFC tag you registered, and the times your blocks started and ended. We do not collect analytics, show ads, track you across apps, or sell your data. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time.
Information stored with your account
The following is stored on Google Firebase servers (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) and linked to your account:
- Phone number — used to sign in with an SMS code.
- Nickname — shown inside the app.
- Registered NFC tag ID — so that one tag belongs to one account.
- Block records — start and end times of each block, and whether Strict Mode was on. Used for the Activity screen and to restore your history on a new device.
- Emergency unlock count — the lifetime number of emergency unlocks you have used.
Information kept only on your device
- The apps and categories you chose to block, selected through Apple's FamilyActivityPicker. iOS stores these as opaque tokens; Bloc cannot read app names or bundle identifiers from them.
- The current block state and a local copy of your block records.
What Bloc does NOT do
- We do not enumerate or scan the apps installed on your device.
- We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash telemetry.
- We do not display advertisements or track you across other apps and websites.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except Google, which hosts the data above as our service provider.
Where your data is stored
Account data is stored on servers operated by Google LLC (Firebase), which may be located outside Japan.
Deleting your account
Open Bloc → Settings → Delete account. After confirming with an SMS code, your phone number, nickname, block records, and tag registration are deleted, and the tag becomes available for registration again. The emergency unlock count kept on your device remains so that the lifetime limit cannot be reset. You can also request deletion by email.
Family Controls (Screen Time) authorization
Bloc uses Apple's Family Controls API exclusively in the
.individual mode. This is a self-controlled authorization
that you grant to Bloc to manage your own device. You can withdraw
it at any time via iOS Settings → Screen Time. When you do, all
shields applied by Bloc stop immediately.
NFC and Universal Links
Bloc reads the NFC tag you registered to switch blocking on and off.
The tag contains a Universal Link of the form
https://bloc-fc924.web.app/t/<ID>; tapping it
opens Bloc. The static page at that URL is served by Firebase
Hosting as a fallback for devices without Bloc. We do not log
requests to that URL to identify users.
Children
Bloc is intended for adult self-management. It is not designed as a parental control tool.

- 現在のブロック状態と、ブロックの記録の控え。
Bloc が行わないこと
- 端末にインストールされたアプリの一覧を取得・スキャンしません。
- 分析データ、広告識別子、クラッシュ情報を収集しません。
- 広告を表示せず、他のアプリやウェブサイトをまたいだ追跡もしません。
- データを販売せず、第三者に提供しません。ただし、上記データの保管を委託している Google を除きます。
保存場所
アカウントの情報は Google LLC が運営する Firebase のサーバーに保存されます。 サーバーは日本国外にある場合があります。
アカウントの削除
Bloc の「設定 → アカウントを削除」から削除できます。SMS の確認コードで本人確認をすると、 電話番号、ニックネーム、ブロックの記録、タグの登録が削除されます。タグは再び登録できる 状態に戻ります。緊急解除の使用回数は、上限をリセットできないよう端末内に残ります。 メールでも削除を依頼できます。
Family Controls (スクリーンタイム) の認可
Bloc は Apple の Family Controls API を .individual (自己管理)
モードのみで使用します。これはあなた自身が自分の端末を管理するために
Bloc に与える認可で、いつでも iOS の 設定 → スクリーンタイム から取り消せます。
取り消した時点で、Bloc がかけていたブロックはすべて解除されます。
NFC と Universal Link について
Bloc は、登録した NFC タグを読み取ってブロックを切り替えます。
タグには https://bloc-fc924.web.app/t/<ID> という Universal Link が書き込まれており、
タッチすると Bloc が開きます (Bloc が入っていない端末では Firebase Hosting 上の静的ページが表示されます)。
このリンクへのアクセスログを、利用者を特定する目的で保持しません。
子どもの利用について
Bloc は大人の自己管理を想定したアプリです。ペアレンタルコントロールツールとしての 利用は想定していません。
